What is self-mastery?

Another word often used in this context is self-development – so what are we developing or mastering here?

Tanya Curtis, Senior Behaviour Specialist and founding director of FABIC Behaviour Specialist Centre, comes with many years of experience in the field of behaviour change and her simple answer is that with self-mastery, we feel equipped to respond to life and the life lessons presented.

Another way of putting it would be to say that we are mastering life, one lesson at a time and step by step. We are then equipped to respond to whatever life is presenting at any given moment.
