Behaviour Rating Scale – Example 1: Bill
$10.00 – $15.00
An example of how to fill in a behaviour rating scale where supporter and Bill himself are offered an opportunity to communicate and discuss how they rate the behaviour at the restaurant on this occasion.
This is a BEHAVIOUR RATING SCALE for Bill at the restaurant.
On the right, under NON-PREFFERED or THUMBS DOWN BEHAVIOUR, is a list of how Bill used to behave in the past. On the left he is shown how his parents wanted him to behave, the PREFERRED or THUMBS UP BEHAVIOUR, if he wants to order dessert.
In this case, rating 1 on the chart allows Bill to order dessert from the adult menu and rating 2 from the child menu.
Note that the supporter (i.e. parent/s) and Bill himself are offered an opportunity to communicate and discuss how they rate the behaviour at the restaurant on this occasion.
