As we all know, bullying behaviour has been on the rise, whether that be at work, at home, in the playground, in the school and other educational settings. It seems to be everywhere, but why?

This poster shows that there are three factors that can lead to bullying behaviours used against other people – avoiding responsibility/blaming others and choosing victimhood/not feeling equipped to respond to the life lesson/s on offer.

And then there is the other side, the person at the receiving end of the bullying behaviour, the target. What can they do?

Actually, a lot and each step neatly counteracts the behaviour of the one using the bullying behaviour. It starts with taking responsibility for one’s own behaviour, claiming oneself and bringing understanding (to the behavioural descriptions in red) and finally embracing life and people.

Simple? Yes, it is but it might just take a little practice.
