Social Skills Presentations over the Christmas Holidays

Nothing supports communication and social skill development in children like opportunities to connect with peers and family.

Fabic’s speech pathologist, Kathryn Maroney, has noticed that a child’s communication and social skills can develop markedly over December and January, because they are constantly immersed in social events, family coming together and opportunities to connect with peers.

For many children, these factors give rise to significant development in the skills needed to make the most of these interactions – communication skills and social skills.

Details

Kathryn is offering to present free 40 – 60 minute information sessions in kindergartens and childcare centers on the Gold Coast and in Brisbane, across Term 4, to offer parents tips and strategies for supporting communication and social skill development over this period. Parents will also have the opportunity to ask questions or speak to Kathryn 1:1 after the presentation.

About Kathryn

Kathryn brings to her clients a dedication to connecting with children and their families. This dedication to relationships is what allows Kathryn to truly meet a family where they are at and bring a deep care, understanding and respect to the service she provides.

To organise a presentation at your center, please contact Kathryn by email at kathryn@fabic.com.au.
