The Body Life Skills Program is a formalisation of an approach to understanding behaviour that Tanya Curtis has been basing her practise on for over 15 years.

While the Body Life Skills Program is very very simple in its principles and practise, its this simple approach that makes it so powerful and effective with promoting true and lasting behaviour change

The Body Life Skills is simply based on the premise that all non-preferred behaviour comes about because there is are situations in life that is presented to us that we perceive we do not have the skills to respond to. Our body then responds by exhibiting behaviours that we would not prefer to use but do so anyway because it is how we perceive we have to face the situations before us.

Hence the key to true and lasting behaviour change is in the understanding that we are not our behaviours, but that our exhibition of non-preferred behaviours is simply saying there is a part of life we perceive we do not have the skills to respond to
