Group Programmes
Bullying
This programme aims to assist groups of individuals who have been experiencing ongoing difficulties with bullying in the school setting to develop tools to assist them to manage their challenging situation in a more effective manner.
Social Skills
This programme is designed to assist individual clients who are experiencing ongoing difficulties during social interactions. This programme aims to teach a group of individuals the skills to appropriately and effectively initiate, maintain and terminate interactions with other people.
Siblings
This programme has been designed to teach a group
of individuals the skills to manage the challenges faced by those who
have a sibling with a disability.
This programme aims to provide siblings with the opportunity to gain:
- Information about their siblings disability and how this disability may affect their sibling’s behaviour
- Strategies to manage common challenges that a sibling with a disability is likely to encounter
Understanding your Aspergers
This programme has been designed to teach a group of individuals the skills to understand Aspergers Syndrome (AS).
Individuals will have been provided with the opportunity to learn:
- Typical characteristics of AS
- Strengths and weaknesses of a person with AS
- Common challenges a person with AS is likely to encounter
- Common strategies that will enable an AS person to function more effectively on a day-to-day basis.
