Skype/Phone Consultation


Don’t allow distance to be an issue.  With Skype or telephone, Fabic’s clinical services are available wherever you are.  Skype/phone consultations are aimed at supporting people to:

  1. Gain an understanding as to why unwanted behaviours are occurring
  2. Develop new replacement behaviours and increase skills in managing unwanted behaviours

Home, School or Community Consultation

OBSERVATION of challenging behaviours in home, school or other environment where unwanted behaviour occurs.  Observations are aimed at gaining an understanding as to why the unwanted behaviours are occurring.

 

Or

 

INTERVENTION IMPLEMENTATION of developed interventions in home, school or other environment where unwanted behaviour occurs.  This service is aimed at supporting effective implementation of developed interventions in the natural setting where the use of new replacement behaviours are desired

School and staff training for individual client


Includes:

  1. One detailed written report including recommendations of strategies to implement in the school setting aimed at assisting behaviour management of an individual client
  2. FABIC staff  review  the report with all relevant staff working with client aimed at assisting with intervention implementation

Note: Fabic services can be funded under the Helping Children with Autism Package. Some clinicians are also approved for Medicare Rebates
